"Instagram highlights " - wrapped headtight new beginner !

" Instagram "-  This generation's Orkut.  Orkut ,the first( upto my knowledge) social media platform to follow our friends,share videos ,songs,to communicate,to display pic our pictures giving oneself a hero shero feel. Orkut was slowly outrated by Facebook,whatsapp and enumerable social platforms.The top survivors are fb, WhatsApp, Instagram, twitter and Snapchat.

Upto my knowledge Snapchat is not popular in India.Hence among the available top level social platforms the one that enables us to befriend our favorite celebreties to know their routine and to make us feel with them is Instagram ( here insta overtakes twitter as many a times twitter seems to be a political opinion platform- an accidental differentiator and many a times Instagram seems to be a fun filled personal opinion platform).

Instagram has been 2k kid's FB , FB for 90's kids & Senior citizens( Sorry ;) ) &  Orkut for 80s kids nostalgia. These social platform chairs have never been stable in one's life it has only been an updated version ,the new chair that fills your lounge replacing the previous chair for every new arrival on the market. Initially when I gave my hand in insta only due to peer pressure I was disinterested in using it. I only owned an account for a name sake with few followers and following few. Slowly the celebrity following enthused me on regular updates of my favorite celebrities. Gradually, I started exploring insta features - the insta highlights are something that attracted me.

Let me now share what I learnt recently.

How to add Insta highlight for your profile through your mobile app: 

I would like to share the ways to add insta highlight and to maintain ones profile stylishly, highly sophisticated like a celebrity profile.Yup insta does give us a celebrity esteem more than fb( though I love fb in its own way).

1. First  allow your Instagram app to access photos & media

2. Now go to Settings -> Privacy ->  Story -> Enable Save to Archive - only then the stories you update could be added to your profile as highlights and could be visible in all platforms

Now you try :)

Consider a topic u wanna add for example let it be "my blog " that would be the folder name for the enclosed album.

a. Let the folder contains the links of your blog, pictures present in the blog etc..

b. Go to my story through your home page or via your profile page by clicking the plus sign that appears in your dp( display pic ).

c. Now, you will get a camera screen requesting to take a pic and add if you want else to select a pic from  your mobile album.

d. Add the needed pics just like adding in WhatsApp status.

e. Then the story will appear for the next 24 hrs as your status for your followers.

f. Now click your story and on the right bottom you will get a heart symbol with label "Highlight"  just click it , your pic will be added to your highlights.

Similarly add all the needed pics to your Highlights.

g. To add new pics to your existing story go to home page right swipe your homepage then at the center exist a camera symbol press that and add pics either via camera or via gallery or create new pics anything as u need.

h. To create a cover photo for your Highlights folder just click the highlights folder and on the right bottom exist three  straight dots click it and select edit highlights from that and add your needed pic or create a folder name with the needed background and upload it.

Make your profile look professional as well stylish and neat with highlights.
