To access your avatar in messenger go to your Facebook messenger via mobile. You may download the messenger app from the Google play store.
You will have a dialogue box at the bottom of your messenger page to text your friends.
Here once you type your content and feel like adding emojis you click the emoji nearby in the text box that would take you to a drop-down with headings sticker, gif and emoji there once you select sticker your avatar stickers would be one among the shown choices of stickers select your preferred avatar sticker and enjoy texting.
From here you can even edit your avatar.
